Upon signing up as a new player, you will choose a rating based on self-evaluation using the general guidelines we are providing for you.
As you play and compete with other players, your rating will go up or down depending on your performance and will become a more accurate representation of your skill level
1.0 → This player has no experience and just started playing tennis
1.5 → This player has minimal experience and still working on keeping the ball in play at low pace
2.0 → This player can maintain some rallies at low pace, but still struggles in match play specially regarding pace, direction and positioning
2.5 → This player is becoming more consistent with medium pace rallies, but movement and recovery are still developing. This player fares decently well in low level tournaments by keeping the ball in play
3.0 → This player is fairly consistent when hitting medium-paced shots, but is not comfortable with all strokes and lacks accuracy when trying for directional control, depth, pace or altering distance of shots. (Video)
3.5 → This player has achieved stroke dependability with directional control on moderate shots, but still lacks depth, variety and the ability to alter distance of shots. The effective use of lobs, Overheads, approach shots, and volleys is limited. (Video)
4.0 → This player has dependable strokes with directional control and the ability to alter depth of shots on both forehand and backhand sides during moderately paced play. This player also has the ability to use lobs, overheads, approach shots, and volleys with success. This player occasionally forces errors when serving. Points may be lost due to impatience. (Video)
4.5 → This player can vary the use of pace and spins, has effective court coverage, can control depth of shots, and is able to develop game plans according to strengths and weaknesses. This player can hit the first serve with power and accuracy and can place the second serve. This player tends to overhit on difficult shots. (Video)
5.0 → This player has good shot anticipation and frequently has an outstanding shot or attribute around which his or her game can be structured. This player can regularly hit winners or force errors off of short balls and puts away volleys. He or she can successfully execute lobs, drop shots, half volleys, overheads, and has good depth and spin on most second serves. (Video)
5.5 → This player has developed pace and consistency as a major weapon. This player can determine his opponents weaknesses and use his strengths against it. He or she can vary strategies and style of play in competitive situations and hit dependable shots under stress conditions. (Video)

1.5 → This player has minimal experience and still working on keeping the ball in play at low pace

3.0 → This player is building confidence at a medium pace and is consistent at a medium pace
3.5 → This player has control and pace but lacks proper shot selection. Previous racquet sport players generally fall into this category
4.0 → This player has experience constructing padel points and is generally a consistent player with good court coverage and strategy in building points
4.5 → This player is resourceful with the ability to executing winners and to force errors. This player also has great strategy in building up points
5.0 → This player has a lot of experience in national tournaments and has great strategy in building up points and can read wall bounces exceptionally well
5.5 → In addition to all above skills, this player can regularly force errors and hit winners and rarely makes mistakes. This player has competed in some high level local tournaments and performed decently.
6.0 → In addition to all above skills, this player always has strategy for winning points and strategy for winning the match. This player has competed and performed really well in many high level local tournaments
